Durante décadas, as funções de segurança da informação lutaram pela responsabilidade de
monitorar o fluxo de informações nas empresas, em papel e formatos digitais ao longo de todo o seu ciclo de vida.
Este esforço foi em grande parte bem sucedido. No entanto, os fluxos de dados através de filtros de segurança, incumbe aos profissionais de segurança implementar os controles adequados para garantir que os dados pessoais são recolhidos adequadamente para o uso pretendido, a própria responsabilidade ou, no mínimo, para sinalizar potenciais problemas de conformidade, marketing e privacidade.

Gregory Reid, CEO of InFuture LLC, has 23 years of consulting and program management experience in information management and leads a global privacy and content services practice serving advanced and innovative healthcare and biotech companies around the U.S. Prior to creating InFuture, Mr. Reid was a Partner in Accenture’s Human Performance management consulting practice. Mr. Reid was also a Principal in EY’s Management Consulting group and served as a global Chief Knowledge and Content Officer for EY Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Reid has been awarded 15 U.S. and international patents for content and document management systems. He is certified in U.S. and EU privacy laws and regulations. He holds a BS in Chemistry, a MS in Chemical Engineering, an MBA in corporate finance, and is currently earning a graduate degree in healthcare law and privacy.
Pfeifle came to the IAPP after stints overseeing a number of B2B publications, including titles in the physical security, workboat and 3D data capture industries. He began his journalism career with the alternative newsweekly The Portland Phoenix, and wrote a local music column for the paper for 15 years. Pfeifle now oversees all content created at the International Association of Privacy Professionals, including newsletters, web conferences, events programming, and dedicated research.
